The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Forkbeard scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Forkbeard ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Forkbeard takes a swing at Campion's ribcage but misses.
Campion with the counter takedown but Forkbeard avoids it easily.
Forkbeard throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Campion is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Forkbeard, right into the meat.

Campion shoots in and gets a takedown into Forkbeard's guard.
Forkbeard knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Campion on the ground.
Campion forces his way into half guard.
Campion wants to take a breather but Forkbeard is having none of it.
Forkbeard has his hands clasped together around Campion's back. He's all about the action.

The fighters are battling for position here. Forkbeard manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Forkbeard looking to hit a scissor sweep but Campion is one step ahead there.
Campion is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Forkbeard on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Forkbeard tries to get out of the position.
Campion postures up in Forkbeard's guard and throws a big left but Forkbeard blocks it.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Forkbeard is pulling down on Campion's head. It's preventing any offense from Campion, at least for the moment.
Campion is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Forkbeard lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

It looks like John Campion has been cut.
Campion takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Forkbeard seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Campion darts in looking for a takedown but Forkbeard gets double underhooks and turns Campion into the cage.
Forkbeard lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Campion tries to score a power double leg takedown but Forkbeard sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Campion somewhat.
Campion throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Campion takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Forkbeard fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Campion looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Campion has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

and Forkbeard counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!
