Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Judson Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seth Rollins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Judson Knight!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Seth Rollins!
The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Ron Honeybunn and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rollins closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Rollins lands in his opponent's guard.
Rollins would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Knight looking for a guillotine here but Rollins defends easily.

Knight had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Rollins defends it easily.
Knight really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

What can Knight do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Rollins wants to control but Knight is keeping busy.
Rollins doesn't have the hooks in and Knight manages to turn into his guard.
Rollins not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Knight is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Knight seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Rollins looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Knight scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Rollins manages to mount him!
Rollins can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Knight is looking to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rollins has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Rollins looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Knight with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Rollins connects with a nice short shot to Knight's temple.
Knight wants to get back to his feet.
Rollins lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Rollins is trying to control the action in half guard but Knight is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Rollins thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Knight is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Rollins's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Rollins looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Seth Rollins showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!

Rollins shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Knight manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Knight wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Rollins manages to pass to side control.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Knight is looking to escape.

Rollins escapes and gets back to his feet.

Rollins throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Rollins throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Knight tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Rollins manages to circle out of the way.

Rollins drives through and clinches with Knight against the cage.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Knight stays in close to Rollins's body and controls the position.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Rollins throws a jab but it's blocked by Knight.

Rollins changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Knight looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Rollins decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Rollins throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Knight was covering up waiting for the punch and Rollins finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Rollins forces his way into half guard.
Knight is not content to let Rollins control the position.
Knight gets back to full guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Rollins wants to control from the top but Knight keeps moving.
Judson Knight has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Seth Rollins is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Seth Rollins comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Rollins has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
