Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Margarito Cohen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Michael Brown!
The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Skip Squint and Ben Watson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brown shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Cohen is trying to defend but Brown finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Brown prevents Cohen from standing back up.

Cohen manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Brown keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Cohen drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Brown stalling in the clinch but Cohen improves position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cohen is looking to break free of the clinch but Brown has double underhooks.

Brown jumps guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brown is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brown tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Brown working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Cohen doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Cohen manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Cohen is in close to Brown's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Brown is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Cohen is refusing to be controlled, as Brown sits in half guard.

Cohen is doing well to control the position and prevent Brown from advancing to side control.
Brown prevents Cohen from standing back up.

Brown is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Cohen doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Brown.
Brown tries to pass the half guard into mount. Cohen knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Cohen pushes Brown off and gets back to his feet.

Cohen shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Brown's guard.

Cohen won't allow Brown to get back to his feet.
Cohen will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Cohen throws a big elbow that misses.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Brown shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Cohen pinned against the cage. Cohen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Brown is kicking away at Cohen from the bottom - trying to push off and stand up. Cohen grabs hold of a leg and drops back for a heel hook! The two fighters roll across the mat, with Brown trying to push Cohen off... Brown taps! He's tapped! This one is all over! A throwback to the old Pancrase there with an infrequently seen submission hold! Nice work.
