Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 34 - 21 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Jeremy Ring!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 45 - 33 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Vladik Fedotov!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fedotov wants to clinch.
Ring misses with a jab, cross combination.

Ring tries to keep at a distance but Fedotov has taken the fight into the clinch.
Ring blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Ring comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Ring throws an elbow but it misses.
A shot in the inside from Ring.
Fedotov misses with an elbow strike.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nice body punch from Ring - that landed with a thud.
Ring connects with a nasty looking knee right to Fedotov's face.
Fedotov avoids a wild elbow strike from Ring.
Fedotov throws an elbow but it misses.

Ring's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ring tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Fedotov was well out of range. Poor timing from Ring.
Fedotov tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ring manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Fedotov tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ring paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Ring looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Jeremy Ring seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fedotov tries to move into range but Ring moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Fedotov blocks a head kick by Ring.

Fedotov moves into the clinch successfully.
Fedotov tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Ring's elbow.

Ring escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nice body kick from Ring.
Fedotov tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Ring is able to avoid easily.
Ring is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
A head kick misses from Ring.
Ring lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Fedotov at a distance.
Ring pounces like a tiger and cracks Fedotov with a vicious hook! Fedotov is down but not out! Ring follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Jeremy Ring!
