Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Trey Golden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bittor Xavier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Golden kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Kongos- Come with me now. Xavier has chosen Jane's Addiction- Mountain Song as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Bittor Xavier struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 171.2lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Golden jabs Xavier to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Golden connects with a high kick.
Xavier shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Golden as he jumps to the side.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Xavier.
Xavier fails with the takedown.
Trey Golden has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bittor Xavier.

Oooooh!!! Golden has knocked Xavier down with a huge combo! Golden steps away and waves a wobbly Xavier back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Crunch! Golden slams his shin into Xavier's torso.

and Golden makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Golden throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Xavier is rocked!
Golden swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Golden has cracked Xavier with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Golden lands another huge swinging hook and Xavier tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Xavier, before Golden can land any more shots!
