Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Adam Harrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dylan Davies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Adam Harrison!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dylan Davies!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Skip Squint and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harrison takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Davies throws a right and a left that both miss.

Davies moves into range and clinches up with Harrison.
Harrison looking to stall.
Harrison scores a nice knee to the body.
Davies scores with a shot to the side of Harrison's head.

Davies drags the fight down to the ground.
Davies trying to control the position here.

Davies working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Harrison doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Harrison manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Davies utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Davies is trying to keep Harrison in close.
Davies is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Davies wants to take a breather but Harrison is having none of it.
Davies throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Harrison is trying to control but can't.
Davies takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Davies wants to pass to mount but Harrison is defending the position.
Davies seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Davies wants to control but Harrison is keeping him busy.
Harrison has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Davies is working away from the top position though.
Davies missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Davies is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Harrison!
Harrison tries to hold on but Davies postures up.
Harrison is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

Davies prevents Harrison from getting the reversal.
Davies is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Harrison tries to hold on but Davies postures up.
Harrison might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Davies with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Davies trying to control but Harrison is having none of it.
Harrison sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Davies is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Davies is trying to control the action in half guard but Harrison is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Davies has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Harrison uses from the top position.

Harrison gets to his feet. Davies looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Davies has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Davies tries to close the distance and clinch but Harrison swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Harrison doesn't manage to clinch there - Davies circles away.
Harrison tries to clinch but Davies is having none of it.
Dylan Davies seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Davies fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Harrison to the ground. Davies is now in Harrison's guard.
Davies is breathing heavily.
Harrison pulls Davies in close to his closed guard and prevents Davies from doing any damage or advancing position.

Davies tries to free his leg and advance position but Harrison is retaining full guard.
Davies keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Harrison's head.
Davies wanted to stand there but Harrison had control of the position.
Harrison is trying to keep Davies in close.
Harrison has a closed guard, preventing Davies from standing up.

Harrison has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Davies can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Davies loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Harrison lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Davies not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Harrison is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Davies wants to stand up but Harrison is controlling him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dylan Davies showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!



Davies closes the distance and pushes Harrison back into the cage.
Harrison doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Harrison is staying active underneath Davies, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Davies got a little sloppy there for a moment and Harrison has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Davies has managed to get both his arms back between Harrison's legs - danger averted.

Davies is looking to pass into half guard but Harrison pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Harrison is in guard.

Davies throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Davies wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Harrison prevents Davies from getting back to his feet.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Davies dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Harrison tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Davies paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Davies scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Davies takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Davies wants to lay and pray for a moment but Harrison keeps working.
Harrison can't do much from the bottom here.

Davies has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Davies shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Davies slows the pace down in half guard.
Adam Harrison has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Dylan Davies is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Well Davies has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
