The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Andrew Berry and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kush just misses with a punch to the body.
Yew keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kush cracks a nice hook into Yew's ribs.
Yew connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Yew lands a jab to the nose.
Yew throws a looping overhand right but Kush ducks down to avoid it.
Kush throws a jab but it's blocked by Yew.
Yew looks to score with a jab to the body but Kush is just out of range.
We've been hearing reports that Kush has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kush ducks right into an uppercut from Yew.
Kush uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Yew.
Yew takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Yew closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Yew swings wildly with an uppercut but Kush uses good head movement to avoid it.
Kush misses with a hook to the ribs.
Kush breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nice defenses there by Kush.
Kush misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Yew looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Kush slips a jab from Yew.
Kush swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Kush takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Kush misses the jab.
Bubba Kush seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kush throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Yew smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Yew lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Kush throws an off balance right hand
and Yew counters with a crisp one two that drops Kush! Yew thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Kush to his feet! Kush is in big trouble!
Kush is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Yew throws a pinpoint strike between Kush's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Kush crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Yew scores a great knockout victory!

After winning the bout, Yef Yew thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
