Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Freddy Warren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hit Run (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Hit Run enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Freddy Warren!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Hit Run!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Atkins and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Warren drives through with a takedown into Run's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Warren throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Run.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Run goes for a double leg but Warren avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Warren continues to drive forward.
Freddy Warren has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hit Run.
Run shoots for a double leg takedown but Warren sprawls well. He's pushed Run's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Warren got a little sloppy there for a moment and Run has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Warren has managed to get both his arms back between Run's legs - danger averted.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Warren throws a strike but Run rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Run is fighting to break Warren's control of his arms but Warren is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Run drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Warren manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Run has Warren in his guard.

Warren throws an elbow that misses. Run uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Warren's guard. Nice move by Run!

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Run displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Warren throws out the jab.
Run shoots in for a takedown but Warren shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Hit Run seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Run drops back, looking for a kneebar! Warren looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Warren looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Warren!

Warren is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Run can do to turn this around?

Warren lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Run felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Warren seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Run is trying to maintain the position but Warren is very close to passing his half guard.
Run is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Run fails with a takedown attempt.
Warren changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Warren closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Warren throws a shot from downtown. Run moves away and avoids it.
Run feints the counter takedown.
Warren misses with a body shot.
Run drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Warren defends it well.
Run shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Warren counters by moving into the clinch.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!



Warren looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Warren is stalling here. Run is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Warren seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Run has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Run has hold of Warren's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Warren tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Run cranks the arm and Warren screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Warren, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Hit Run!
During a confident post fight interview, Hit Run thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
