Paddy Burke has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Yut Chepkauw's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burke misses with a two punch combination.

Chepkauw darts in and clinches Burke up against the ropes.
Burke is looking to break free of the clinch but Chepkauw has double underhooks.

Burke blocks an elbow strike from Chepkauw.
Burke wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Chepkauw escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Burke goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
No joy there for Burke, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Burke misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Chepkauw closes the distance and pushes Burke back into the ropes.

Chepkauw breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Burke throws a wild body kick that Chepkauw sees coming a mile off.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Burke has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Chepkauw uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Burke.
Chepkauw tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Burke paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Burke throws a switch kick that catches Chepkauw on the top of the head and drops him to the canvas! Chepkauw looks hurt - I'm not sure he's going to get back up! The referee starts the count but calls it off at seven as Chepkauw flops around on the canvas, clearly in no position to continue! This fight is over!
