The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DeViro fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
DeViro is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
DeViro's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Mitchell connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! DeViro scrambles back to his feet.

Mitchell closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mitchell lands in his opponent's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

DeViro is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Mitchell has latched onto it... Big trouble! Mitchell pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it DeViro is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Mitchell!
