The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kovalev throws a left and a right that both miss
and Thorsen counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Kovalev moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Kovalev tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Thorsen is able to avoid easily.
Kovalev rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Thorsen moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Kovalev throws a right hand that Thorsen ducks under and follows up with a left that Thorsen also avoids with ease.
Thorsen doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Kovalev tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Thorsen manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Thorsen lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kovalev circles away quickly and effectively.
Kovalev tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Thorsen dodges the punch combination from Kovalev.

Kovalev swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Thorsen ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Thorsen takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
A nice combination there by Kovalev.
A lazy left from Thorsen finds it's target.
Thorsen misses with a straight left.
Kovalev closes the distance and pushes Thorsen back into the cage.
Thorsen escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Kovalev blocks a jab.
Kovalev throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kovalev fails in his attempt to clinch.
Thorsen misses with a looping right.
Nice straight punches there by Kovalev. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Kovalev.
It looks like Odin Thorsen has been cut.
Kovalev jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Kovalev shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Thorsen is trying to defend but Kovalev finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Thorsen makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Kovalev walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Oooooh!!! Kovalev has knocked Thorsen down with a huge combo! Kovalev steps away and waves a wobbly Thorsen back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Thorsen is rocked!
Kovalev throws a head kick that misses.
Thorsen is still on wobbly legs! Can Kovalev finish him?

Thorsen lands a glancing blow to the side of Kovalev's head.
Kovalev is rocked!
Thorsen looks to land a combination but Kovalev avoids it well.
Oh Kovalev is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kovalev tries to get into range but Thorsen steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Kovalev! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Thorsen scores the big KO victory!

Odin Thorsen really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Bloodlust Horde Fightwear logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
In defeat, Peter Kovalev stepped up to the mic, saying 'this aint the last u seen of me!!!'.
