With a record of 35 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Joe Jordan!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jordan slips a straight right by Fjera.

Fjera smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Fjera throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Jordan has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Fjera comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Jordan enables Fjera to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Jordan manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

We've been hearing good reports from Fjera's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Nick Fjera overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Fjera changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jordan looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Jordan is looking to get back to his feet here but Fjera is keeping cool and he's managed to take Jordan's back.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Fjera is riding his opponent, not letting Jordan buck him off.

Fjera throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jordan sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Jordan appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Well Fjera has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A very excited looking Nick Fjera rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
