Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pablo Escobar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddy Maiden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Escobar comes to the cage accompanied by KoRn En Vivo Mtv. Maiden has chosen Wildfire in the streets as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 12 - 1, fighting out of London, Eddy Maiden!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Maiden controls Escobar momentarily but Escobar frees himself.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Maiden throws a series of punches but Escobar avoids them all with ease.

Escobar tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Maiden manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Escobar shoots for a double leg takedown but Maiden sprawls well. He's pushed Escobar's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
It seemed like Maiden was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Maiden shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Escobar sprawls well. Escobar wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Maiden gets slowly back to his feet.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Pablo Escobar.
Well Escobar has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
