The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rahman tries to clinch but Tupu is having none of it.

Tupu bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Rahman's head backwards.

Tupu slips under a jab.
Tupu throws a head kick that misses.
Tupu throws a body shot but no joy.
Tupu keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Rahman thumps Tupu with a low kick.
A jab lands there for Tupu.
Rahman misses with a low kick.
Tupu swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Tupu looks to land a left hand but Rahman moved out of range nicely.
Rahman throws a big counter combination but Tupu scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Rahman lands a glancing blow to the side of Tupu's head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Tupu looks for a takedown but Rahman sprawls well.
Tupu sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Tupu walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Rahman takes the fight into the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rahman lands an elbow just above Tupu 's eye.

It looks like Poto Tupu has been cut.
Tupu blocks an elbow strike.
Rahman lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Rahman lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Tupu throws a head punch that misses.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Rahman.
Tupu tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Rahman lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Tupu misses with a hook from the clinch.
Tupu blocks an elbow strike.
Rahman lands a damaging elbow.
Tupu tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Rahman's elbow.
Rahman lands an elbow inside that Tupu shrugs off.

That has opened up Poto Tupu's cut even more.

Tupu is rocked!

The cut above Poto Tupu's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Tupu tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Rahman lands with a right to the head.
Tupu is still on wobbly legs! Can Rahman finish him?

Poto Tupu's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Rahman pushes Tupu against the cage. Rahman is working some dirty boxing. Rahman pushes off with a quick right hook! Tupu goes down! Tupu tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Rahman moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
