Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jacob Wolfe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Deshawn Shaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Shaw as Wolfe shoots in.
Shaw lands a two punch combo.
Shaw throws a sloppy head kick and Wolfe moves out of range easily.

Shaw gets the takedown into side control.
Shaw really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wolfe. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Shaw misses with a head shot. Wolfe uses the momentum to regain guard.
Wolfe pulls Shaw in close to prevent any damage.

Wolfe has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Shaw can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Shaw keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Wolfe's head.

Shaw is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Wolfe is pushing Shaw up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Shaw must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Wolfe closes the distance and clinches up with Shaw, looking for a takedown. Wolfe pushes Shaw against the cage but Shaw circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
