Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kai Firanen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Lepijewitz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Daniel Lepijewitz!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Firanen closes the distance and clinches.
Firanen escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Firanen fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lepijewitz sprawls well initially but Firanen persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Firanen wants to stand up but Lepijewitz is controlling the position.
Firanen looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Firanen tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Firanen really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lepijewitz taking some punishment here, with Firanen in his half guard.
Lepijewitz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Firanen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Firanen connects with a nice short shot to Lepijewitz's temple.
That's one minute gone in the round.

Firanen tries to pass the half guard into mount. Lepijewitz knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Firanen takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Firanen seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Lepijewitz for as long as he can get away with.
Lepijewitz is trying to stand up here but Firanen is controlling him well.
Firanen seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Firanen stops Lepijewitz from getting back to his feet.
Lepijewitz is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Well, if Firanen is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Firanen is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Firanen is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Firanen shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lepijewitz's guard.
Lepijewitz wants to stand up but Firanen is controlling him.
Firanen distracts Lepijewitz with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Lepijewitz working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Firanen doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Firanen manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Firanen pushing down on Lepijewitz's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Lepijewitz wants to control but Firanen is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Lepijewitz has hold of Firanen's hands but Firanen slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Firanen content to control rather than advance.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Firanen is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Firanen looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Firanen has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Firanen is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Lepijewitz is just riding it out for now. Firanen eventually gives up the hold.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kai Firanen dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Lepijewitz gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Lepijewitz gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Firanen.
Firanen pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Lepijewitz avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Firanen gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Firanen has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Lepijewitz doesn't defend quickly enough and Firanen has managed to lock this one up! Can Lepijewitz escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Firanen on a fantastic submission victory.
