The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cooper misses with an uppercut.
Pablos dives in for a single leg takedown but Cooper sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Cooper stuffs the takedown attempt from Pablos. Pablos gets slowly back to his feet.
Cooper connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Pablos's hands.
Cooper misses the jab.
Cooper throws a right and a left that both miss.
Cooper connects with a crisp jab.
Pablos shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Cooper as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pablo Pablos. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cooper throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pablos.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Pablos is trying hard to land a takedown here. Cooper sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pablos is aggressively charging in as Cooper backs up avoiding any damage. Cooper tosses out a jab and Pablos runs right into it face first! Pablos is out cold! Cooper dropped down on all fours and is barking in Pablos's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
