Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Cheslin Kolbe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jarrod Larkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jarrod Larkin is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kolbe lands a head kick. Larkin smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Kolbe tries a head kick but it misses.
Larkin has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Kolbe throws a head kick but Larkin moves out of range.

Larkin closes the distance and clinches.

Kolbe is trying to drag Larkin to the mat but Larkin just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Larkin pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

A little jabbing left from Larkin on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Larkin throws an overhand right that lands on Kolbe's shoulder, as Kolbe tries to avoid the shot.
Kolbe tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Larkin swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Kolbe.
Kolbe is looking to land body kicks.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Larkin bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Kolbe's head backwards.

Larkin throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kolbe.

Larkin throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kolbe sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Larkin throws a right hand that Kolbe ducks under and follows up with a left that Kolbe also avoids with ease.
Kolbe takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Larkin moves out of range of the body kick.

Kolbe is trying to force a seperation but Larkin has the dominant position.

Larkin breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Larkin throws out a loose jab but Kolbe uses good head movement to avoid it.
Kolbe throws a sloppy head kick and Larkin moves out of range easily.

A punch lands to the side of Kolbe 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Oh Kolbe is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Larkin lands a nice looking body shot.
Kolbe tries a head kick but it misses.
Larkin cracks Kolbe with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Kolbe tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Larkin pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Kolbe is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
