Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Amis Pelle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaakko Parantainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Parantainen has chosen Cryin' Like A Bitch - Godsmack as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parantainen throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Pelle's head.
Parantainen ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Parantainen feints the counter takedown.
Pelle pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Pelle rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Parantainen moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Parantainen lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

It looked like Pelle was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Pelle drops Parantainen with a beautiful combination! Parantainen stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Pelle is looking for the KO!

Parantainen has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Pelle engages and cracks Parantainen with a massive lead left hook - Parantainen tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Pelle is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
