The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kamphmann scores with a decent looking hook.
Kamphmann bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Marcy's head.

Marcy changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kamphmann looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Marcy decides to take the fight back to the feet.

It looks like Lance Marcy has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Marcy throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A little feinted left hand from Kamphmann on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Marcy takes one to the side of the head.

Marcy closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Kamphmann tries to buck Marcy off but Marcy is having none of it.

Marcy decides to stand up, so the ref orders Kamphmann to his feet.
