Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Saam Ante and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dark throws a right hand that Hoogenkamp ducks under and follows up with a left that Hoogenkamp also avoids with ease.
Hoogenkamp with the counter takedown but Dark avoids it easily.
Some wild striking there from Dark.
Dark throws a right and a left that both miss.
Dark moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Dark lands the left hand.
Dark stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Dark wants it to stay on the feet.
Dark scores with a nice right hand.
Dark fails to land with a series of punches.
Dark fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dark throws a series of punches but Hoogenkamp moves out of range.
Dark lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Dark looks to land a combination but Hoogenkamp avoids it well.
Hoogenkamp changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Dark lands a nice shot to the body.
Hoogenkamp shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Hoogenkamp fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
As Hoogenkamp looks to move away, Dark throws a big counter combo but Hoogenkamp just gets out of the way.
James Dark has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Quinten Hoogenkamp.
Hoogenkamp tries to sprawl but Dark drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Hoogenkamp slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Hoogenkamp is looking to cinch up a triangle. Dark throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Hoogenkamp's body to avoid the submission. Hoogenkamp has instead reached around Dark's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Hoogenkamp arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
