Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sodium shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Batyr's guard.
Sodium stands up over Batyr, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Sodium stops Batyr from standing up.
Sodium is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Batyr throws a series of punches but Sodium moves out of range.
Batyr shoots in looking for a takedown. Sodium tries to sprawl out of it but Batyr keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sodium manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Sodium throws a leg kick which misses Batyr's front leg but catches the back leg as Batyr tries to avoid it.

Sodium feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Batyr manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Sodium has Batyr pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Sodium pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Batyr tumbling to the mat - Sodium dives into Batyr's guard.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Batyr enables Sodium to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Batyr manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Batyr has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Sodium is on him like a limpet, forcing Batyr back against the cage.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Sodium, as that shot connected.
Sodium connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Sodium lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Sodium throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Batyr tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Sodium is in Batyr's guard.

Sodium works to advance to full mount. Batyr defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Sodium cracks Batyr with a big right hand from the back mount! Batyr immediately covers up and the referee dives in to save him under a barrage of more strikes! Sodium takes this one by TKO!

High Sodium looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'Finally, damn..'.
