Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Wuzz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ellis Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Ellis Miller enters the ring!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, David Wuzz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Ellis Miller!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Saam Ante and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Miller rushes Wuzz and presses him up against the ropes.
Miller misses with a hook to the ribs.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Miller.
Miller misses with a punch on the inside.
Wuzz scores with a knee to the head.


It looks like Ellis Miller has been cut.
Miller throws a punch but it's blocked by Wuzz.
Wuzz blocks a body shot from Miller.
Miller makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Miller stops a takedown attempt from Wuzz.

Wuzz breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Miller keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Miller lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Wuzz will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Miller now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Wuzz is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wuzz doesn't manage to clinch there - Miller circles away.
Wuzz fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

David Wuzz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Miller must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Wuzz looking for a sweep. Not yet Wuzz, not yet.
Wuzz has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Wuzz has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Miller can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Wuzz throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Miller escapes and throws Wuzz's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Miller lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Miller lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Miller is trying to control. Wuzz wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Wuzz looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Miller controlling the action here.
Miller is looking to take a break and control but Wuzz is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Wuzz is looking for a sweep. Miller is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Wuzz is refusing to be controlled, as Miller sits in half guard.
Miller looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Wuzz tries to get to full guard but Miller has control of the leg.
Wuzz has hold of Miller's hands but Miller slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Wuzz is looking to get back to full guard here but Miller has managed to pass to side control instead.

Miller wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wuzz keeps working.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Miller lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Wuzz down.
Wuzz tries to buck Miller off but Miller is having none of it.

Wuzz doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Miller counters with a left to the body.

Wuzz closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Wuzz lands in his opponent's guard.

Miller is edging up against the ropes. He's using the ropes to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Miller struggles to land a body shot inside as Wuzz controls his hands.
Wuzz is trying to pull guard but Miller turns him against the ropes and we stay in the clinch.
Wuzz blocks an uppercut.

Miller works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Wuzz is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Miller has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Miller avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Miller working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

Wuzz looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Miller passes into half guard.

Wuzz wants to get back to full guard but Miller has passed into side control.
Wuzz gets back to half guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Wuzz is working to avoid the ground and pound but Miller connects with a decent elbow.

Wuzz pushes a forearm under Miller's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Miller is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
