Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Enok Jepsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Gie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Enok Jepsen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, James Gie!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Steven Brown and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jepsen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gie moves away.
Gie unleashes a big counter combination but Jepsen bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Gie moves into the clinch successfully.
Jepsen managing to block the knees to the body from Gie.

Gie breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Gie on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Enok Jepsen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jepsen lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Gie tries to move into range but Jepsen moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Gie takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Jepsen lands with an uppercut that bounces Gie off the cage and back into range.
Jepsen clobbers Gie with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Jepsen lands with a straight right. Gie didn't see that one coming.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
That kick from Gie tenderised Jepsen's leg. Jepsen is trying to keep his angry face on.
A jab from Jepsen finds it's way through Gie's defenses.
Jepsen lands with a cross.
Gie lands a nice looking body kick.
Gie tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Jepsen defends well and Gie ends up having to push Jepsen into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Enok Jepsen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Jepsen lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Gie drives through with a takedown into Jepsen's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Gie is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Gie tries to free his leg and advance position but Jepsen is retaining full guard.

You can see the frustration on Jepsen's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Gie decides to stand back up. Gie steps back and let's Jepsen get back to his feet.
Jepsen fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Gie misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

and Jepsen counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Jepsen fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Gie takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Jepsen lands a nice shot that snaps Gie's head back.
Gie's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Jepsen connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Gie scrambles back to his feet.
Jepsen scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Jepsen connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jepsen scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Gie doesn't seem bothered though.
Sloppy strikes from Jepsen. Those never looked like landing.
Gie looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jepsen is fending him off so far but Gie persists. Nope, Jepsen circles away and we're back to standing.

Enok Jepsen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Gie.

Gie fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Jepsen to the ground. Gie is now in Jepsen's guard.

Gie drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gie jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Gie is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Gie trying to control the position from guard on top but Jepsen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Jepsen wants to get back to his feet but Gie is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Gie is looking to work some ground and pound but Jepsen has wrist control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gie shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Jepsen is trying to defend but Gie finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Gie is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Jepsen is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Gie can do to turn this around?

Jepsen wants to improve his position but Gie is controlling well.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Jepsen scores with a nice strike.
Jepsen is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
The fighters circle momentarily. Jepsen darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Jepsen scores with a crisp jab that stopped Gie in his tracks.
Jepsen uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Gie has time to react.

Gie avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Gie looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Jepsen!
Gie has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Gie manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Jepsen on his heels. He'll look to pass Jepsen's guard now, I'm sure.
Jepsen not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Jepsen wants to sweep but no luck.

Gie gets to his feet. Jepsen looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Jepsen throws a body punch but Gie moves out of range.
Jepsen digs a good body shot into Gie's ribs.
Gie has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.

Gie shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Gie was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Gie is trying to get an arm triangle but Jepsen is defending well.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gie is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Jepsen's shoulder. That is not cool.

Gie working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Gie takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Gie goes for a double leg but Jepsen avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Jepsen continues to drive forward.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jepsen pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Gie back to the cage. Jepsen follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
James Gie is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Gie shoots in for a double leg but Jepsen sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Jepsen throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gie stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Gie takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Enok Jepsen is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Jepsen throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Gie on the side of the head.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jepsen, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
