Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stelio Kontos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Wilder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rob Wilder is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Stelio Kontos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rob Wilder!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilder moves into the clinch.
Kontos displaying some good clinch control by pressing Wilder up against the cage.
Kontos could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Wilder stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Kontos drops down looking for an ankle pick but Wilder pulls his leg out and moves away.
Kontos changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wilder looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Wilder is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Wilder sneaks out the side door and pushes Kontos away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Kontos closes the distance but Wilder moves to the side
and Wilder makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Kontos shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
enabling Wilder to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Stelio Kontos has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kontos misses with a takedown attempt
and Wilder counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Kontos has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Rob Wilder!
