Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Penny throws a combination that misses
and Wesson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Penny displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Wesson throws out the jab.
Penny slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Wesson moves out of range as Penny strikes.

Wesson swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Wesson has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Wesson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
It looked like Penny wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Penny misses with an uppercut. Wesson saw that one coming.
Wesson lands a nice looking body shot.
Penny throws a hook to the side of Wesson's head but Wesson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Penny fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Wesson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Penny throws a lazy right hand but Wesson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

and Penny counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Penny takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Penny rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wesson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Wesson moves out of range as Penny strikes.
Wesson lands with a right hand.
Penny looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Penny gets through Wesson's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Wesson tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Penny blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Princess Penny has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dean Wesson.

Penny fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
A decent looking cross lands there for Wesson.

Wesson bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Penny's head.
Wesson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Penny swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Penny moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Penny fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Wesson throws a head kick but Penny moves out of range.
Wesson is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Penny had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Wesson throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Penny.

and Wesson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

and Penny counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Wesson might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Penny lands with a short shot to the head.

and Penny counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Princess Penny will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Dean Wesson's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Wesson doesn't manage to clinch there - Penny circles away.

and Penny counters with a crisp one two that drops Wesson! Penny thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Wesson to his feet! Wesson is in big trouble!

Wesson is rocked!
Penny lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Wesson up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Penny from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Wesson's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Princess Penny!
Princess Penny decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
