The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beattie bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Le's head.
Beattie on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Beattie lands a body shot.
Beattie feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Les jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
A punch combination from Le misses.
Le ducks under a wild hook from Beattie.
Le throws a head kick that misses.
Beattie takes a swing at Le's ribcage but misses.
Beattie moves into range and connects with a jab.
Beattie shoots in looking for a takedown but Le manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Beattie's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
A big right from Le misses.
Cung Le seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Le ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Beattie moves away.
Beattie throws a leg kick but Le checks it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Le throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Beattie is looking to clinch.
Beattie throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Beattie throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Le's waist but Le gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Beattie off to one side.
Le is looking to counter the offense by Beattie and move into the clinch.
Beattie misses with a leg kick
and Le connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Beattie pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Le back to the cage. Beattie follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Le takes a swing at Beattie's ribcage but misses.
Beattie avoids the head kick by Le.
Beattie ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Le fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Beattie on the side of the head.
Beattie pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Beattie just misses with a punch to the body.
Beattie walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Le checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Le wants to land a leg kick but Beattie is out of range.
Le looks to score with a jab to the body but Beattie is just out of range.

Le swings widly with a right hand
and Beattie counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Beattie is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Le rather than just go for the knockout.

Le uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Beattie.
Beattie lands the left hand.

Beattie looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Beattie gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Le.
Le throws a low kick but it's checked well by Beattie.

Beattie throws a looping overhand right but Le ducks down to avoid it.
As Beattie backs away, Le returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Le dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Beattie wants to clinch.
A quick step to the side and Le tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Le lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Le ducks under a wild hook from Beattie.
Le lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Le, as that shot connected.
Le tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Beattie lands a high kick!
That kick from Le tenderised Beattie's leg. Beattie is trying to keep his angry face on.
Le throws a good cross that connects.
Beattie is rocked!
Le connects with a leg kick. Beattie looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Beattie moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Beattie ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
A low kick from Beattie misses
and Le counters with a leg kick.
Le just misses with a punch to the body.
Beattie is looking to clinch.
Beattie takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Le seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Le takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Beattie smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Beattie is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Le closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Beattie! Le dives in looking to finish! Beattie is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cung Le!
