Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Taj Trigger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 11 - 4, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steve Pick!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Reed Andrews and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pick comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Pick jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.


It looks like Taj Trigger has been cut.
Trigger throws a solid leg kick but Pick takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Trigger.
Pick throws out a loose jab but Trigger uses good head movement to avoid it.
Pick shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.


It looks like Steve Pick has been cut.
Pick fails with an attempt to clinch.
Trigger scores with a body shot.
We've been hearing reports that Trigger has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Pick feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Triggers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Trigger lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Trigger connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A lazy left from Trigger finds it's target.
Pick misses with a double jab

and Trigger counters by clinching up.
A right hook to the body lands for Pick.
A nice right hand lands inside from Pick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Trigger blocks an elbow strike from Pick.

Pick pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Trigger blocks a head kick by Pick.
Trigger misses with an uppercut. Pick saw that one coming.
Pick throws the left hand but Trigger avoids the punch easily.
Trigger digs a good body shot into Pick's ribs.
Pick takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Trigger swings for the body but Pick moves out of range.
It seemed like Pick was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Trigger connects with a leg kick. Pick looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Trigger cracks Pick with a right hand to the side of the head.
The crowd cheers as Trigger lands an impressive looking overhand right. Pick doesn't seem phased though.


That has opened up Steve Pick's cut even more.

Trigger cracks Pick with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Trigger has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Pick to stand back up!


Pick is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Pick walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Pick limp body while Trigger jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Taj Trigger!
After winning the bout, Taj Trigger thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
Steve Pick spoke after the fight, saying 'Next time I will beat this weirdo'.
