Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Iuri Krugman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Joshua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anthony Joshua is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Joshua counters with a left to the body.
Horrible takedown attempt by Krugman or perhaps it was just good defense by Joshua, which made it look bad.

Joshua stalks Krugman and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Krugman's face. Krugman staggers backwards, shaken.
Krugman tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Joshua swivels and escapes.
Krugman shoots in for a double leg but Joshua sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Joshua pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Joshua lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Krugman circles away quickly and effectively.
A little feinted left hand from Krugman on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Krugman could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Joshua looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Krugman is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Joshua is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Joshua moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Krugman jumps guard but Joshua stands there with Krugman around his waist. Krugman gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Joshua escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Krugman fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Despite the aggression on Joshua's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
