Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Alejandro Sepulveda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Khal Stark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sepulveda's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Llorando se Fue. Stark has chosen Prophecy by Six Feet Under as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alejandro Sepulveda!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Khal Stark!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stark bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Sepulveda throws a right and a left that Stark avoids nicely.
Sepulveda moves out of range as Stark strikes.
Nice sprawl there from Stark as Sepulveda shoots in.
A low kick from Stark misses
and Sepulveda connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Sepulveda shoots in for a double leg but Stark sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alejandro Sepulveda. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Stark has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Stark looks to land a combination but Sepulveda avoids it well.
Sepulveda throws a hook to the side of Stark's head but Stark sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Stark slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Oh Sepulveda is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sepulveda has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Stark is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Sepulveda knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Stark wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sepulveda keeps working.
Sepulveda is looking to regain half guard here but Stark keeps moving and retains side control.

Stark content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Stark is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Sepulveda sees it coming and defends easily.

Sepulveda wants to improve his position but Stark is controlling well.

Sepulveda is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Stark pulls his head out easily.

Stark seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Sepulveda does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Still in half guard, Stark seems content to control.

Stark wants to work for an arm triangle but Sepulveda is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Stark is controlling the pace.
Sepulveda manages to get to full guard.

Sepulveda escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Stark gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Stark throws a body shot but no joy.
Stark goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Stark circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Sepulveda drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Stark follows Sepulveda to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:12 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Khal Stark!
Khal Stark is the new bantamweight champion!
