Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hoss Moody (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Don Gotti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Don Gotti has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Hoss Moody's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hoss Moody!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Don Gotti!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Anni Minnemäki and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Moody, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Moody defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Gotti.
Moody seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Gotti thows a left - swing and a miss!
Moody tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gotti swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Moody bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Gotti's head.
Moody walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Gotti checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Gotti throws a jab when Moody was well out of range.

and Gotti counters with a nice double leg into side control. Moody won't be happy with that.

Gotti is trying to get an arm triangle but Moody is defending well.

Gotti is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Moody knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Gotti looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Gotti's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Hoss Moody has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Don Gotti.

Moody avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Gotti tries to score a power double leg takedown but Moody sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gotti somewhat.
Moody will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gotti shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Moody but Moody pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Moody tries to close the distance and clinch but Gotti swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Moody moves in looking to clinch but Gotti pushes him off.
Gotti tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

and Gotti counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Moody!

Gotti wants to control but Moody is keeping him busy.

Moody is trying to get back to his feet.

Gotti thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Moody knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gotti on the ground.
Moody is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Gotti wants to lay and pray for a moment but Moody keeps working.
Moody stops Gotti from passing to mount.

Gotti has hold of Moody's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Moody seems comfortable defending it but Gotti has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Moody is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Moody is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Gotti couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Don Gotti!
