Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between George Orwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Francisco Castillo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castillo looks to score with a jab to the body but Orwell is just out of range.
Castillo throws a series of punches but Orwell avoids them all with ease.
Castillo misses with a double jab.
Castillo throws a looping overhand right but Orwell ducks down to avoid it.
Castillo misses with a straight left.
Francisco Castillo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Castillo swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Orwell wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

Orwell lands a big head kick that sends Castillo tumbling to the mat! Orwell takes a step backwards and waves Castillo back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Castillo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Orwell was well out of range. Poor timing from Castillo.

Orwell changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Castillo tries to avoid it but Orwell manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Castillo to the ground. Castillo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Orwell fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Castillo avoids it really well and circles away.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Castillo ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Orwell's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Castillo connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Orwell scrambles back to his feet.

and Orwell counters with a crisp one two that drops Castillo! Orwell thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Castillo to his feet! Castillo is in big trouble!

That has opened up Francisco Castillo's cut even more.

Orwell pushes Castillo against the cage. Orwell is working some dirty boxing. Orwell pushes off with a quick right hook! Castillo goes down! Castillo tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Orwell moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
