Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Krystian Gromadowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marty Meierotto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gromadowski comes to the cage accompanied by Rzeszowska Klasa. Krystian Gromadowski has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meierotto shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Gromadowski sprawls well. Gromadowski wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Meierotto gets slowly back to his feet.

Meierotto feints and as Gromadowski raises his hands in defense, Meierotto changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Gromadowski wriggles free and stands up.

Gromadowski gets caught flat footed, as Meierotto shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Meierotto is pushing down on Gromadowski's leg trying to pass to half guard. Gromadowski is fighting to maintain full guard but Meierotto has managed to sneak the leg through.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Meierotto is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Meierotto is working for a submission of some sort.

Meierotto wants to take a breather but Gromadowski is having none of it.

Meierotto wants to work for an arm triangle but Gromadowski is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Meierotto is looking to pass Gromadowski's guard but actually Gromadowski recovers to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Meierotto tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Meierotto has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Meierotto is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Gromadowski is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Meierotto stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Meierotto has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Gromadowski is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Meierotto gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Gromadowski to score an easy takedown into full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Meierotto shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Meierotto showed some decent athleticism there.

Gromadowski pushes Meierotto off and gets back to his feet.

and Meierotto takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Meierotto is looking to take a break and control but Gromadowski is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Meierotto goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Gromadowski rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Meierotto's guard! Nice work there by Gromadowski!

Gromadowski got a little sloppy there for a moment and Meierotto has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gromadowski has managed to get both his arms back between Meierotto's legs - danger averted.

Meierotto is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Gromadowski has latched onto it... Big trouble! Gromadowski pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Meierotto is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Gromadowski!
