Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Bjarni Agnarsson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Yef Yew!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Glass and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Agnarsson jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Yew looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Agnarsson scores with a hook to the body. Yew takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Agnarsson just misses with a punch to the body.
Agnarsson swings widly with a right hand
letting Yew counter with a right hand.
Agnarsson throws a leg kick
and Yew counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Agnarsson looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Agnarsson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Agnarsson misses with a straight right.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Yew! But no joy.
Agnarsson takes one to the chin there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Agnarsson throws a lazy body kick
and Agnarsson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Agnarsson.
Agnarsson misses with an attempted mid kick.
Yew looks like he wants to counter punch here.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Agnarsson throws a head kick that misses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Agnarsson dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Yew throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Agnarsson's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Yew dives in looking to finish as Agnarsson flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Yew's strikes! Yew is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Agnarsson's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Agnarsson was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yef Yew!
An out of breath Yef Yew thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
