Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Eloy Cook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Wayne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Eloy Cook!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ryan Wayne!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Dmitry Maklakov and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wayne tries for a takedown but Cook sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Wayne shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Cook as he avoids it easily.
Wayne shoots in looking for a takedown. Cook tries to sprawl out of it but Wayne keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cook manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Eloy Cook has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan Wayne.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wayne tries a head kick but it misses.

Cook fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Wayne sprawls well initially but Cook persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Wayne tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Cook manages to move to mount!

Cook has hold of Wayne's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Wayne manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Wayne is wriggling around trying to escape.
Cook with shots to the head and body - Wayne looks very uncomfortable down there.
Cook working the ground and pound effectively.
Cook will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Wayne tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Wayne is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cook looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

Wayne is desperately trying to improve his position but Cook has a good base and remains in mount.
Wayne wants to control but Cook is having none of it.
Cook lands a heavy elbow.
Wayne tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Wayne looks winded!
Cook is landing with some decent strikes but Wayne is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Cook in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Cook really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Cook cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Cook is landing with some decent strikes but Wayne is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Wayne tries to reverse the position but Cook maintains control.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Cook cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Cook jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Wayne is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Wayne and Cook has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Wayne on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Cook is chipping away with strikes.

Cook decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Wayne gets caught napping as Cook dives in and scores a takedown. Wayne manages to retain guard.

Cook decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Wayne, up you get!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Wayne dives in and grabs Cook's left leg, looking for a takedown. Cook pushes down on Wayne's head and hops out.
Cook tried to counter with a leg kick but Wayne avoided it.
Wayne drops his hands momentarily and Cook takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Cook closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Wayne did well to prevent Cook getting side control.
Wayne scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Cook manages to mount him!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cook scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Wayne?
Cook lands a big shot there that rocks Wayne but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Cook looking to finish Wayne with some ground and pound. This is bad for Wayne!
Cook with a couple of short strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Eloy Cook dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Cook looks to land a body kick but Wayne moved away.

Cook fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Wayne to the ground. Cook is now in Wayne's guard.

Wayne wriggles free and stands up.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Wayne throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Cook slaps away a takedown attempt from Wayne, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Cook appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wayne shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Cook sprawls well. Cook wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Wayne gets slowly back to his feet.
Wayne is breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Cook shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Cook was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Wayne wants to get back to his feet but Cook is dominant here and he's now got Wayne's back!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wayne tries to break free.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Cook lands strikes to the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wayne is really stuck here.

Cook working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Wayne is doing well to defend. Cook seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Wayne is forced to tap and this one is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Eloy Cook!
