Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Thunder Chunk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sage Northstar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sage Northstar has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Gwen Towbar and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chunk looks to land a left hand but Northstar moved out of range nicely.
Northstar throws a series of punches but Chunk avoids them all with ease.
Northstar scores with a shot to the body.
Northstar scores with a nice head shot.
Northstar with a nice cross.
Northstar ducks under a wild hook from Chunk.
A little jabbing left from Northstar on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Chunk throws a looping overhand right but Northstar ducks down to avoid it.

Chunk looking to score a takedown here. Northstar is defending well but Chunk drives through and ends up in Northstar's guard.
Northstar is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Chunk drops back looking for a leg! Northstar is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Northstar manages to kick Chunk off! Chunk jumps back into Northstar's guard.
Northstar looking to hit a scissor sweep but Chunk is one step ahead there.
Chunk throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Northstar works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Chunk drops back looking for a leg! Northstar is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Northstar manages to kick Chunk off! Chunk jumps back into Northstar's guard.
Chunk postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Chunk with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Chunk with a flurry of punches that miss.
Chunk slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Chunk wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Northstar, who protects the arm well.

Chunk is trying to get an arm triangle but Northstar is defending well.

Chunk swings around for an armbar but Northstar sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Chunk's guard.

Chunk has his foot on Northstar's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Northstar works his way back into a safe position though.

Chunk has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Northstar can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Chunk looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Chunk looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Chunk looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Chunk had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Northstar defends it easily.
Northstar trying to control the position from guard on top but Chunk is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Chunk is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Northstar is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Chunk has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Northstar is looking to defend but Chunk has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Northstar! Chunk pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Northstar taps out and this one is all over!
