Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
West shoots for a takedown but Wehmer saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Wehmer fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but West avoids it really well and circles away.
West looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

A momentary lapse in concentration from West enables Wehmer to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. West manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Wehmer looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
West avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Wehmer makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wehmer postures up and lands a big shot to West's brow.
Wehmer wants to control from the top but West keeps moving.

Wehmer thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Wehmer is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

West on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if West tries to get out of the position.

Wehmer is working West over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
West knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wehmer on the ground.
West has momentary wrist control but Wehmer slips an elbow through the middle.

Oh West is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Wehmer connects with a nice short shot to West's temple.
Wehmer lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked West! More strikes land and this one is all over! Wehmer jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
