The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The Killer closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Pollard quickly recovers to half guard.

Pollard is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but The Killer pulls his head out easily.

Pollard looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
The Killer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pollard. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Pollard wants to control but The Killer is keeping busy.
Pollard is positioning himself well to prevent The Killer advancing to mount.
Pollard is trying to control but The Killer manages to pass to mount!
Pollard regains half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The Killer seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Pollard is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
