Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Stem Cell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kang Xi Jia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cell tries a head kick but it misses.
Cell throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Xi Jia looks to land a left hand but Cell moved out of range nicely.
Cell swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Xi Jia tries to land a front kick but Cell steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Cell misses with a body shot.
Xi Jia misses with a low kick.
Cell scores with a decent looking hook.
Xi Jia looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Xi Jia has closed the distance and engaged Cell in a clinch.
Xi Jia throws an elbow but it misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cell digs a right hand underneath Xi Jia's ribcage. Xi Jia let out a lung full of air as it connected.
A right hook to the body lands for Cell.
Cell tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Xi Jia misses with a hook from the clinch.

Cell swings wildly with an uppercut but Xi Jia uses good head movement to avoid it.

A nice right hand lands inside from Xi Jia.

Xi Jia tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Cell tries to throw a body punch but Xi Jia avoids it by throwing Cell back against the cage.

Xi Jia tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Cell smiles and moves away.

Stem Cell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kang Xi Jia.
Cell throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Cell attempts a counter takedown but Xi Jia avoids it well and moves away.
A looping hook to the body misses from Cell. Xi Jia does a little dance to reset his feet.
A decent looking cross lands there for Xi Jia.
Cell throws a hook to the side of Xi Jia's head but Xi Jia sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Xi Jia appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Cell throws a body shot but no joy.
Cell scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Xi Jia uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cell.

Cell throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Xi Jia tries a quick counter leg kick but Cell is wise to it.
