Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Foster Burke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glo Kem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Foster Burke!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Glo Kem!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Burke drives through and clinches with Kem against the cage.

Burke gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Kem escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Burke gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Kem looking for a guillotine here but Burke defends easily.
Burke seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Burke will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Burke postures up and lands a big shot to Kem's brow.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kem had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Burke defends it easily.
Burke lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Burke controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Burke is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Burke is nestled in close to Kem, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Burke really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Kem wants to improve his position but Burke is controlling well.

Kem is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Burke pulls his head out easily.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Kem is looking for a sweep. Burke is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Kem keeps trying to improve his position.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Burke in particular looking to stall.
Kem is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Burke landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Kem wants to improve his position but Burke is controlling well.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Burke pushes Kem up against the cage in a clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Burke is working for takedown but Kem is calmly controlling the position for now.
Kem is defending well against a takedown attempt.
A frustrated look appears on Kem's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Kem wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Burke keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Kem's efforts to push away.

Burke is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Kem pulls him back up using the underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Foster Burke. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Burke's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Burke gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Kem regains guard.

Burke throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kem looks like he wants to counter punch here.

Burke moves into the clinch.

Burke is trying to drag Kem to the mat but Kem just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Burke has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Kem after a bit of a struggle.
Kem tries to circle away but Burke has him pinned against the cage.
Burke stalling.

Burke gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Kem trying to get back to full guard but Burke takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
Kem slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Kem is looking for a sweep. Burke is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Burke takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Kem moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Kem has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Burke can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Kem is breathing heavily.

Kem looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Burke has picked Kem up and slammed him! Kem can't keep hold of the triangle and Burke manages to pass to side control!
Kem tries to bench press Burke off him but Burke keeps the position.

Burke decides to stand back up. Burke steps back and let's Kem get back to his feet.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Burke shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Burke shoots in looking for a takedown. Kem tries to sprawl out of it but Burke keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kem manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A nice side step and Kem releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Burke has a takedown stuffed.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Foster Burke. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Burke changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kem looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Kem tries to bench press Burke off him but Burke keeps the position.
Kem tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Burke presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Burke has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Kem's face.

Kem stops Burke from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.

Kem tries to reverse the position but Burke maintains control.

Kem takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kem is desperately trying to improve his position but Burke has a good base and remains in mount.
Burke is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Kem can do to turn this around?

Glo Kem has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Foster Burke is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Kem is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes.

And that's the end of the fight!
Foster Burke showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Burke, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
