Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Omer Boyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tomas Kadlec (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tomas Kadlec will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Omer Boyer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tomas Kadlec!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kadlec misses with a jab, cross combination.

Boyer has Kadlec up against the cage in a clinch.
Kadlec tries to score a body lock takedown but Boyer shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Boyer gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Boyer stops Kadlec from getting back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Boyer really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Kadlec looks like he's trying to stand up.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Kadlec wants to take the fight to the mat but Boyer manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Omer Boyer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tomas Kadlec.

Kadlec pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A telegraphed right hand from Kadlec misses the target.

Boyer has taken the fight to the clinch.

Kadlec has Boyer pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Kadlec pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Boyer tumbling to the mat - Kadlec dives into Boyer's guard.
Kadlec has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Boyer is proving hard to escape from.

Kadlec might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Boyer haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Kadlec sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Boyer will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Kadlec wants to get up but he can't break Boyer's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Kadlec seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Kadlec blocks a head kick by Boyer.
Kadlec misses with a double jab.
Boyer seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

Boyer rushes Kadlec and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Boyer jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kadlec walks away with a smile on his face. Boyer gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Kadlec fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Boyer gets underhooks to prevent Kadlec's takedown attempt.

Kadlec fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Boyer tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kadlec smiles and moves away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Omer Boyer will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kadlec wants to take a breather but Boyer is having none of it.

Boyer is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kadlec is aware though and is defending well.

Boyer tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Boyer is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Kadlec wants to get back to his feet.
Boyer slows the pace down in half guard.
Kadlec pushes Boyer off looking to stand but Boyer dives back in and keeps control.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Boyer tries to clinch there but Kadlec circles away.
Boyer throws a head kick but Kadlec moves out of range.
Boyer tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Boyer throws a nice looking combination but Kadlec bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Kadlec avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kadlec misses with a two punch combination.
Boyer throws a sloppy head kick and Kadlec moves out of range easily.
Boyer throws a series of punches but Kadlec moves out of range.
Boyer lands with a nice combination. Kadlec backs away looking to recover.

Sloppy strikes from Boyer. Those never looked like landing.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Kadlec! But no joy.
Boyer throws a head kick but Kadlec moves out of range.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Kadlec's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Boyer fails with an attempt to clinch.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Boyer fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kadlec, pushing him back against the cage.
Kadlec wants a takedown but no success here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Boyer tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kadlec manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Kadlec unleashes a big counter combination but Boyer bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Boyer has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Kadlec is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Kadlec jumps guard and drags Boyer to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Kadlec kicks Boyer off and gets to his feet.
A punch lands to the side of Boyer 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Kadlec throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Kadlec has managed to clinch.
Kadlec is looking for a takedown.

Kadlec breaks the clinch.
Kadlec throws a poor cross that misses

and Boyer counters by moving into the clinch.

Kadlec pulls guard successfully.
Boyer content to stall in guard here.
Boyer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kadlec swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Boyer looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Boyer drives through and clinches with Kadlec against the cage.
Boyer tries to pull guard but Kadlec holds him up against the cage and eventually Boyer drops back down to his feet.

Tomas Kadlec has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Omer Boyer is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Kadlec gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
