Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jarvis Avalon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Lynch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eric Lynch has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jarvis Avalon's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Jarvis Avalon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eric Lynch!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Avalon connects with a jab.
Lynch waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Avalon.

Lynch decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Avalon is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at ~T~ Troid - Gym, so we'll see if he gets out of it.

Lynch tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lynch has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Avalon avoids a punch combination nicely.
Lynch shoots in looking for a takedown. Avalon tries to sprawl out of it but Lynch keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Avalon manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Lynch is looking to clinch but Avalon is avoiding it.
Avalon misses with an uppercut.
Lynch wants to clinch up but Avalon keeps it at a distance.
Lynch misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Sloppy strikes from Avalon. Those never looked like landing.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jarvis Avalon will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Avalon throws the left hand but Lynch avoids the punch easily.
Lynch swings away with a leg kick that misses.

Lynch rushes Avalon and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Avalon blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Lynch throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Avalons head.

Avalon's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
The crowd cheers as Avalon lands an impressive looking overhand right. Lynch doesn't seem phased though.
Avalon connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Avalon connects with a body shot that sends Lynch's belly button to the back.
Avalon throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Avalon fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lynch manages to avoid it.

Avalon manages to break the clinch.
Lynch shoots for a double leg takedown but Avalon sprawls well. He's pushed Lynch's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Lynch closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Avalon drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Avalon jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Lynch gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Avalon seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lynch does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Avalon prevents Lynch from improving his position.
Avalon is taking a breather. Lynch says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
