Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Uryan Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Augusto Azevedo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Azevedo is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Welcome To The Jungle. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Augusto Azevedo was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Azevedo's hands.
Hall slaps away a takedown attempt from Azevedo, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Hall was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Hall's jab looks to have found its range, popping Azevedo under the eye.

Hall looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Hall content to control rather than advance.
Hall prevents Azevedo from improving his position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hall is looking to take a break and control but Azevedo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Hall seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Azevedo does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Hall is looking to stall here but Azevedo recovers full guard.

Azevedo can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Hall controls the pace.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Hall seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Azevedo for as long as he can get away with.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Azevedo dives in and grabs Hall's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hall pushes down on Azevedo's head and hops out.
Azevedo takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Azevedo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hall as he avoids it easily.
Uryan Hall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Augusto Azevedo.

Hall throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Azevedo was covering up waiting for the punch and Hall finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Azevedo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hall doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hall manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Hall is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Hall trying to control but Azevedo is working from the bottom.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Azevedo is looking for a triangle here but Hall uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Azevedo has his takedown stuffed
and Hall counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Augusto Azevedo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Hall slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Hall throws a series of strikes that have Azevedo backpedaling.
Azevedo fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hall avoids it really well and circles away.
We've been informed that Azevedo has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Hall connects with a crisp jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Azevedo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hall tries to avoid it but Azevedo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hall to the ground. Hall escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Azevedo drives through with a takedown into Hall's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hall looking for a triangle here. Azevedo is fighting it but it looks tight! Hall pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Azevedo is tapping out - this one is all over!
