Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Harry Angstrom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Harry Angstrom!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tim Thomas!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Valeri Chadov and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas misses with a right hand
and Angstrom counters with a shoot takedown. Thomas fights it but they end up in guard.
Thomas has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Angstrom has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Thomas pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Angstrom shoots for a takedown but Thomas saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Thomas throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nice straight punches there by Thomas. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Thomas.
Angstrom decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Thomas tries to close the distance and clinch up but Angstrom swats him away and circles back towards the center.

A little jabbing left from Thomas on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Angstrom is really struggling to control Thomas but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Angstrom is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Thomas sees it coming and defends easily.
Angstrom working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Thomas makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Thomas moves into range and clinches up with Angstrom.
Angstrom breaks the clinch.
Angstrom feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Thomas throws a lazy right hand but Angstrom sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A combination from Angstrom does no damage.
A clash of legs there as Thomas blocks the low kick.
Thomas throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Angstrom drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Thomas explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

Thomas has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
Thomas throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Angstrom shoots in and drives through. Thomas sprawls well.

The crowd cheers as Thomas lands an impressive looking overhand right. Angstrom doesn't seem phased though.

Thomas throws the kick towards the body but Angstrom avoids it.

Well Thomas has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
