Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Stephen Campbell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Skog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Campbell comes to the cage accompanied by "Joyride (Omen)" by Chevelle. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Campbell throws a looping overhand right but Skog ducks down to avoid it.
Skog lands a nice looking body shot.

Campbell throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Skog swings for the body but Campbell moves out of range.

Skog has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Campbell has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Campbell and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

That was a close round but I would say that Stephen Campbell will probably get the nod.
