The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Bruno Lombardi and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bloonkers throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Tua counters with a nice uppercut.
Bloonkers throws a body shot but no joy.
Bloonkers keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Tua .
Bloonkers has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Tua takes a head kick and keeps coming.
It looks like David Tua has been cut.
Tua just misses with a punch to the body.
Bloonkers throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A jab from Tua misses.
Bloonkers throws a big counter head kick but Tua avoids it with no problem.
Tua misses with a looping left.
Tua throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Bloonkers connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bloonkers throws a head kick but Tua moves out of range.
Tua lands a nice shot that snaps Bloonkers's head back.

Bloonkers ducks under a wild hook from Tua .

and Bloonkers counters with a nice kick to the body.

and Tua counters with a stiff right hand.
Bloonkers knocks Tua to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bloonkers decides to stand up, so the ref orders Tua to his feet.

Tua is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Bloonkers goes for a takedown attempt but Tua pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Bloonkers throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Nice defenses there by Bloonkers.
Bloonkers raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Bloonkers misses with an uppercut. Tua saw that one coming.
Bloonkers lands with a kick to the temple. Tua shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Bloonkers throws a right and a left that Tua avoids nicely.
Bloonkers moves out of range as Tua strikes.
Bloonkers is looking for the big counter here.
Tua lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
It looks like Barbie Bloonkers has been cut.
Bloonkers blocks a head kick by Tua .
A swing and a miss from Tua .
Tua smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Bloonkers misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bloonkers fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Tua drops Bloonkers with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Bloonkers looks back up at him and smiles so Tua waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bloonkers takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Tua throws a head kick that misses.
Tua lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Bloonkers is rocked!
Bloonkers is holding his hands too far apart here. Tua throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Bloonkers is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). David Tua !
An out of breath David Tua thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
Barbie Bloonkers spoke after the fight, saying 'I'm gay.'.
