These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jack throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Putin's waist but Putin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jack off to one side.

Mikael Putin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Jack closes the distance and pushes Putin back into the cage.

Putin is fighting off a takedown attempt but Jack is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Putin to the mat. Putin regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Jack has hold of one of Putin's legs. Putin is fighting the takedown attempt but Jack gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Jack lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Putin can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Jack and Putin drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Jack.
