Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lawerence Spencer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ricardo Silva told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spencer throws a head kick but Silva moves out of range.
Spencer misses with a two punch combination.
Spencer rushes Silva and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Silva can't get the takedown.
Spencer has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Silva clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Spencer doesn't have the hooks in and Silva manages to turn into his guard.

Silva chips away with some ground and pound.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Silva pushes down on Spencer's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Silva is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Spencer is just riding it out for now. Silva eventually gives up the hold.

Silva tries to pass to full mount but Spencer defends it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Spencer wants to improve his position but Silva is controlling well.
Spencer is in trouble now - Silva has advanced to mount!
Silva is working for a guillotine from mount but Spencer frees his head quite easily.
Silva controlling the position easily from mount.
Spencer tries to hold on but Silva postures up.
Silva with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Silva is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Spencer has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Spencer is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Silva looking for a guillotine from mount but Spencer is having none of it.
Silva has control of Spencer's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Spencer regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Silva is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Spencer is forced to tap! Great finish!
