PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hyryx Dall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Stark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dall comes to the cage accompanied by Rattlesnake. Tony Stark acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hyryx Dall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tony Stark!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, John Kavanagh and Anthony Taglia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters circling a little - Dall finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Stark throws an overhand right that lands on Dall's shoulder, as Dall tries to avoid the shot.
Dall lands a front kick.
Stark takes one to the chin there.
Dall throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Stark steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Dall. That one must have hurt.
Stark fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dall manages to avoid it.
Stark has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Dall.

Dall looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dall frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Stark tries to buck Dall off but he can't manage it.
Dall takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Dall is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Stark to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Stark shrugs it off.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Dall cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

That's one minute gone in the round.

Dall working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Stark turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Dall off and cradles Stark's limp body as Dall celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Hyryx Dall!
After winning the bout, Hyryx Dall thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
