Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slice misses with a leg kick
and Roman counters with a nice double leg into side control. Slice won't be happy with that.
Roman thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Roman trying to control the action but Slice is working from the bottom.
Roman is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Slice is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Slice regains half guard.
Slice is trying is best to control the position here.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Slice manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Slice throws a sloppy head kick
and Roman counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Slice has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Roman is working away from the top position though.
Slice is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Roman's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Roman's back!
Slice is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Roman with him. Roman is trying to defend but Slice has an arm under the chin now! Roman grimaces and is forced to tap out!
